Overview
Good UI isn't the one that looks best in a portfolio : it's the one that gets someone to the decision they came for. I design interfaces around real user behavior, then validate them before a single line of code gets written.

I start from the user's actual task, not the layout I want to show off. I prototype, test the flow, and refine until the interface disappears and the decision is what's left.
